The Royal Societies of Australia is very pleased to welcome the Royal Society of New South Wales back to Membership of the RSA. The Council of the RSA unanimously approved its Membership at its meeting on 15 May 2026. At that meeting the President and Vice-president of RSNSW were appointed to the RSA Council. This is another milestone in bringing the voices of Australia’s Royal Societies together for maximum impact nationally and internationally.
The RSA looks forward to working with the RSNSW to maximise our collective impact on the acquisition and effective use of evidence-based knowledge and research in Australia. The RSNSW will continue to make contributions to the RSA’s national projects, bringing a NSW perspective to this important work.
