Governance

The Royal Societies of Australia (RSA) is a registered company limited by guarantee which promotes and advances knowledge and learning in Australian society through its advocacy of and for Australia’s state-based Royal Societies which form the membership of the company.

The RSA is governed by a Council that manages all Society business in accordance with its RSA Constitution. The Council consists of the President, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer, and a number of Councillors, all representing the RSA’s member societies.

The Royal Societies of Australia is a not-for-profit organisation registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
